Charles has over 15 years’ experience running the Dickson family investments. He founded and built the Tarncourt Group into a profitable and high growth commercial property investment and development business. As well as being a shareholder he served on the Board of Portland Hotels for 12 years before its exit to Leonardo Hotels, he also has served as Director of Workshop Coffee since it was founded in 2011. Charles began his career with Ernst & Young LLP, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant before moving to work in Corporate Finance with McQueen (now Executive Director of Apache Capital Partners Ltd and Transcend Packaging Ltd.

With over 4,500 employees Warburtons now bakes over £2 million of products each week and distributes to over 18,500 customers across Britain from 12 bakeries and 14 depots. Jonathan has also held non-executive director positions with AG Barr and Samworth Brothers, the latter of which he held for over 20 years until standing down in 2017.

He was most recently head of Investec Resource Investment Banking for Asia and Australia, after serving as CEO of Renaissance Capital, where he established the company’s first Asian office. Previously, he spent 12 years with Renaissance Capital, as a Managing Director heading up Equity Products in New York and the UK and has also served a Vice President at Morgan Stanley.

An experienced plc non-executive director, Mr Wood graduated with a First Class honours degree in Economics in 1996 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999. He subsequently joined the corporate finance department of Beeson Gregory in 2000 where he advised growing companies on transactions including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, M&A and corporate restructuring. Matt also advised corporate clients on the UK regulatory framework including the Listing Rules, the AIM Rules, the Takeover Code and general corporate governance matters. He left Beeson Gregory, by then Evolution Securities, in 2006 to set up ONE Advisory Group, a London-based corporate advisory group providing its Plc clients with corporate administration, Company Secretarial services, outsourced finance function, IFRS conversions, FPPP preparation and FCA regulated activities.

Emma has strong internal auditing skills and experience in implementation of numerous financial IT systems.

Rupert founded the Barkby Group Plc in 2018 and is currently CEO. In 2015 Rupert led a family office buy-out of Woodforde’s Brewery, a nationally recognised award-winning Brewery and the largest Brewery in Norfolk. He still serves as a Non-Executive Director on the board. Rupert has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Rupert was a founding partner of the private equity firm Kildare Partners which had total real estate assets under management of over $4.5bn. These included multiple European hotels, offices and shopping centres. Prior to this he spent 16 years at Dresdner Kleinwort where in 2005 he was appointed Managing Director, Global Head of Equity Distribution.

He gained his qualification with a ‘big four’ accounting firm, where his client focus was UK hospitality businesses, including managing the audit of a large AIM listed pub company. He left to join an international quick food service business where he held roles of Chief Accountant and Group Financial Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. During this period, revenues increased from c. £300m to c. £800m with EBITDA increasing from £35m to £95m.He subsequently joined the management team of a fast-growing UK SME following external investment. He has held the board-level position of Finance Director for three years.
