He has built a respected reputation in the industry continually pushing boundaries and reforming the marketplace. He founded the fast growing, multi award winning digital automotive dealership Centurian Automotive which has revenues in excess of £7m. Previously he has worked with brands such as Fairline, Sunseeker and Princess yachts, Koenigsegg, Aston Martin and Ascari.

James qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and subsequently made his move into the specialty coffee sector by founding Workshop Coffee. As CEO, James oversees the planning and execution of the business strategy across all departments, as well as identifying new areas for development and expansion. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from the University of Nottingham and a Master of Science degree in Corporate Real Estate Finance and Strategy from Cass Business School. He is also a partner of the Tarncourt Group.

Rupert joins Barkby with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having held roles within it for over 25 years. Having previously spent 13 years working with Wiltshire-based brewer and pub operator, Wadworth, he was most recently responsible for directly overseeing the running of 55 pubs, with 8 direct reports and more than 1,000 staff. He has also received and been nominated for a number of awards, including the Publican Morning Advertiser Awards and Licensee of the Year. Prior to this, Rupert held positions at Young & Co.,Yard Glass Pub Company and Regent Inns.
